Jami Henry and Kay Saunders of Bellewether Global visited the Go To Market Show to discuss their company's focus on improving performance by aligning people and processes within organizations.

Bellewether Global is a combination of two companies. The alignment of people and process has a huge impact on business performance and profitability. Recent studies by Harvard University showed that 90% of business strategies fail because of a lack of execution. In most organizations this comes from a failure of people and processes.

According to Saunders, there are a number of questions that Bellewether helps companies address. "How can we get people to work well together so that the hand offs are smooth, the culture is one that is productive and they can draw people to join them?" she says. "If we can take the pressure off of running their business, then they can do more of what they do best."

The Bellewether team discussed their work with JE Dunn, a commercial construction company headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri that is the sixth largest nationally. The work focuses on performance improvement that reaches beyond the company to subcontractors that work regularly with the global company. Bellewether is working with a good number of the subcontractors running them through the assessment and training that helps strengthen them as subs and helps them be more successful at forming solid relationships with JE Dunn but also with other customers.
